WGL is a public utility holding company that serves customers in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. I designed their 2015-2016 Sustainability Report, which highlights WGL’s sustainability strategy and their economic, environmental, and social impacts. Our challenge was to create an interactive and approachable report and to guide the user through the nearly 100-pages of text heavy content. In addition, I sought to echo the feeling of clean energy and sustainability through the openness of the layout. Designed for business, government, and consumer audiences, the report includes relevant stories connecting the user to the content in a meaningful way.
